Are you creative, want to learn new skills, and are care-experienced? Then sign up for a Voices Through Time creative project and use your voice to contribute to the story of care.
In our creative projects, you will explore the history of care, discovering how the past impacts the present and the future. You will respond creatively to the lives of the children who grew up in the Foundling Hospital, the UK’s first children’s home, which opened in 1741.
Our projects are open to care-experienced young people aged 16-24 who live in London.
Past projects have included short films, creative writing, textile art, co-creating and acting in a play, and spoken-word performances at the Arcola Theatre.
The Voices Through Time: The Story of Care programme is made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
