In our creative projects, care experienced young people explored the history of care, discovering how the past impacts the present and the future. Participants responded creatively to the lives of the children who grew up in the Foundling Hospital, the UK’s first children’s home, which opened in 1741.
Our projects were open to care-experienced young people aged 16-24 living in London.
Past projects have included short films, creative writing, textile art, co-creating and acting in a play, co-creating an immersive art installation and spoken-word performances at the Arcola Theatre.
The Voices Through Time: The Story of Care programme is made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
