The Story of Care Ambassador programme invited care experienced young people to produce creative responses to the care system – as it was, as it is now. The Ambassadors attended a monthly workshop to reflect on the care system, and to develop skills in a new creative medium. They were set with a monthly task to produce a piece of content, which we platform on our channels.
Over October and November 2023, we asked our Story of Care Ambassadors to create audio content reflecting on the care system and the key experiences and places of their lives. The results are a mixture of poetry and spoken word. Listen to our Ambassadors perform their pieces below.
