Care-experienced young people worked with The Liminal Space to explore Coram’s Foundling Hospital Archive and the past and present of the care system. Their voices, imagery and ideas are woven throughout the artwork.
At the heart of Voices Through Time has been the digitisation and transcription of 100,000 pages from the Foundling Hospital Archive. These unique records detail the lives of the Foundlings, their mothers and others linked to the Foundling Hospital between 1739 and 1885.
You can listen to the audio handout, leave your hopes and dreams of the care system, and explore other resources related to the artwork below.
