We are afraid that the Voice Acting project has been cancelled. We are very sorry for this. Voices Through Time will recruit for further creative projects in the coming months. Please use the sign up form at the bottom of this page if you would like to be updated when sign ups for these projects open.
Over the course of six workshops, artist Aundre Goddard will cover the basics of voice-acting and performance. Through a mixture of fun games and activities, the workshops will cover vocalisation, script interpretation and character building.
And here’s the exciting part: you’ll have the chance to voice a character in an audio walking tour about the history of the Foundling Hospital, Britain’s first children’s home. The tour will reveal the experiences of the young people who lived at the Foundling Hospital in the 1700s and 1800s. It will be produced by Sound UK and freely available on Coram’s website.
This is an excellent opportunity to try your hand at voice-acting, build confidence and have fun! No previous experience is required.
