The first admissions of children to the Foundling Hospital took place 280 years ago on the 25 March. Join us to mark this landmark moment in the history of care with an online event.
Social Historian Carol Harris will look at how the first children to be cared for entered the Foundling Hospital, and what their reception meant for them and for their mothers.
Brigid Robinson, Managing Director of Coram Voice, will look at the present day and the question of stigma facing care experienced children in and leaving care.
We are delighted to also be joined by our care experienced young ambassadors who have been challenging stigma through films, poems, and podcasts.
