Thank you for opting to take part in our National Adoption Week campaign this October.

As you are aware, we are working with Photographer and adoptee Richard Ansett. The campaign explores adoption through the eyes of children who are waiting to be placed with a family.

Focusing on anticipation, connection and the promise of belonging, the photographs will show a range of families at different stages of the adoption journey.

The portraits captured by Richard will feature on billboards across London during National Adoption Week, as well as feature within a gallery space (yet to be determined).

We are looking at a second exhibition around Big Adoption Day in January 2027. In addition to this, the images will feature on Coram’s Adoption Story website and across social media. The photographer may also want to try and submit the collection to an established gallery at a later date. A Coram representative may also be taking photographs and film clips for use on Coram’s channels.

Please note that the photographer and a Coram representative will come to your home to take the photos. Please can you provide your postcode so that we can schedule Richard’s ’tour’.
Please can you provide as much information as available around who will be in the photos - first name, age, position in family.
We are looking to take the photos during the summer holidays and September. Please tick all of the dates that you are available on and we can then schedule your photo shoot.(Required)
Coram will provide you with a photography release form to sign before the shoot. This will be emailed to you by our Head of Marketing to sign and return. Any questions, please email marketing@coram.org.uk and the team will get back to you. Thank you so much for helping us create this moving campaign aimed at encouraging more people to start their adoption journey.
